Finance in Common (FiCS) is convening a high-level special event in the context of the French Presidency of the G7, bringing together leaders of Public Development Banks, international financial institutions, regulators and policymakers.

This dialogue aims to showcase concrete solutions to strengthen interoperability across Public Development Banks, improve capital mobilization, and contribute to a more coherent and effective international financial architecture.

Structured around high-level discussions and operational sessions, the event will explore how Public Development Banks can work as a system and deploy innovative financial instruments to lower the cost of capital and scale investment for climate and development priorities.

This exchange will contribute to ongoing discussions within the G7 and the BRICS presidencies, building on the momentum of recent global development finance initiatives.

Event Agenda

Structured around high-level sessions, the agenda will explore how Public Development Banks can work more effectively as a system, align around country-led investment frameworks, and deploy innovative financial instruments. The event will also address regulatory and market conditions needed to lower the cost of capital and unlock additional financing, contributing to ongoing international discussions and the delivery of scalable solutions for sustainable and inclusive growth.
