Dr Werner Hoyer has been President of the EIB since January 2012. He served as Member of the Bundestag for 24 years and been Minister of State twice at the Foreign Office. He also served as Whip and Secretary General of the FDP as well as President of the European Liberal Democratic Reform Party.
