She began her five-year mandate at CEB on 19 December 2016. Before that she was Secretary General of the Treasury and Financial Policy in Spain. In that capacity, she served as Deputy Minister at the Eurogroup and Ecofin and was Member of the Board of the Bank of Spain, the Spanish Securities Supervisor (CNMV), Vice-President of the National Banking Resolution Authority (FROB), and Vice-President of the National Guarantee Deposits Scheme (FGD). She is a Member of the Civil Servants’ Senior Corps of State Economists and Trade Specialists and holds an MBA from IE Business School and also an MSc and a PhD in Pharmacy.
