This technical assistance programme forms part of the Gap Fund's overall offer to help cities realise their climate ambitions by improving the capacity of financial intermediaries to provide finance to cities for climate adaptation and mitigation projects.

The TA programme will, among other things, help financial intermediaries to build urban climate project pipelines and develop the tools and procedures necessary to identify, appraise and monitor such projects.
