PROJECT PRESENTATION

Fast changing technology and market dynamics during the pandemic have thrown several challenges and risks, which made capacity-building, knowledge, obtain a herculean task. Human Resource Management Department of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has leveraged technology by offering training in a self-paced e-learning platform. Dedicated online portal facilitates on the go, anytime, anywhere learning in a self-paced manner. This project aims to provide the best training content to its employees to make them future-ready.

Employees have been able to gain knowledge pertaining to subjects cutting across 26-27 Departments and Subsidiaries of NABARD and develop expertise in their area of interest. As a behavioural nudge, an e-certificate appreciating employees for completing e-learning module is generated, and a leader-board for high scorers on the portal is created to inculcate a spirit of healthy competition among the participants.

Since then, this project has enhanced professional capacities and career growth of employees by launching 138 e-lessons for junior and middle management and 61 e-lessons for senior management officers. Overall, the project has further motivated employees and managers to learn, hone new skills and perform better.
