Following the recognition in 2021 of Finance in Common by the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors, the FICS Secretariat developed, together with members and under the leadership of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, the first ever FICS Progress Report to the G20.
This Report highlights some of the main contributions of the FICS movement to the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement. It focuses on four development challenges of common concern for the G20 and the FICS movement (sustainable finance, energy transition, food security and global health architecture), showcasing concrete and actionable deliverables.
Finance in Common is honoured to have worked under the guidance of the Indonesian G20 Presidency in 2022, demonstrating the role that PDBs can play to respond to an increasingly challenging global context, and looks forward to a continued fruitful cooperation to support the Indian Presidency of the G20 in 2023.
